Puy Du Fou

Radcliffes Environmental was commissioned to prepare the landscape masterplan for this major new theme park in the UK. This is only the second new park being developed outside France. Puy du Fou attracts over 2 million visitors per year and has been recognised as “the best theme park in the world”.

Key aspects of the design has been to retain as many existing trees and hedgerows into the masterplan to create sub-spaces into which new shows, villages and hotels will be incorporated; consideration of visual screening for nearby residents; re-routing and upgrading rights of way to maintain public access and phasing of construction of the structural landscape.
